What is a Targeted E-Mail
A targeted e-mail is one sent to users matching a specific set of criteria that you can specify before sending. Targeted e-mails in ppSD2 allow you to use the program’s powerful “advanced criteria” system.

Unlike a newsletter, users do not need to be subscribed to anything to receive a targeted e-mail[1].
Examples
Using a targeted e-mail, you can specify that a user needs to match any set of criteria to receive the e-mail being sent out. This means that you can choose to only e-mail users in a specific Zip code and/or city. You can choose to only e-mail users who have a first name of “Tom” and a last name beginning with “S”. You can choose to e-mail all users or leads. The possibilities are endless and this system will make your targeted e-mail marketing an easy task.
