What is a Payment Gateway?
A payment gateway is a third party website that allows you to accept credit cards online.
What Payment Gateways Does ppSD2 Support?
API Gateways
An API gateway allows you to accept credit cards directly from your website. If using an API, you will be required to purchase and install an SSL certificate.
We strongly recommend using an API over a Non-API
Non-API Gateways
Non-API gateways work differently than API gateways, in that your users will have to leave your website to complete a purchase. You will need to set your payment gateway up to return the user back to the ppSD2 system following a purchase.
Other Payment Gateways
If your payment gateway is not listed above, this does not mean that it is not supported. Please contact us to inquire about your payment gateway. In the event that it is not currently supported, we will do everything in our power to integrate it with ppSD2.
