What is a Secure Area?
A secure area is physical folder on your server to which only registered users have access. Everything within a secure area will be inaccessible to:
- Unregistered users
- Registered users who are not logged into their account
- Registered users who are logged into their account but have not been granted access to the secure area in question
Secure areas not only allow you to protect files (such as webpages, images, PDFs, mp3s, etc.), but they also serve as a method of grouping users. Grouped users can be e-mailed, listed, and searched for together on the ppSD2 admin control panel.
