Editing & Managing Users

User Management Screen

The user management screen allows you to manage users and leads and can be accessed from any of the following locations:

Once you are in the user management screen, the following options will be presented:

Notes Notes Allows you to manage account notes and alerts. N/A
E-Mail User E-Mail User Allows you to e-mail the user. N/A
Delete User Delete User Deletes the user’s account. N/A
Ghost LoginGhost Login Allows you to log into a user’s account without affecting the user’s stats or alerts. N/A
Billing Logs Billing Logs Allows you to view the billing history for this user. N/A
Download Activity Download Activity Allows you to view digital product download activity for the user. N/A
Login Activity Login Activity Allows you to view a history of the user’s logins. N/A
Password Sharing Report Password Sharing Report Displays trackstat information for this user. N/A
Unlock User Unlock User If an account is locked, this icon will allow you to unlock it. This icon only appears if the user’s account is locked due to excessive failed logins.
View Subscriptions View Subscriptions Allows you to view active subscriptions for this user. This icon only appears if the user has an active subscription.
Create Subscription Create Subscription Allows you to add a subscription to the user’s account. This icon only appears if the user has a credit card on file.
Add Credit Card Add Credit Card Allows you to add a credit card to the user’s account. This icon only appears if you are using an API as your payment gateway.
Charge Credit Card Charge Credit Card Allows you to charge a user’s credit card. This icon only appears if the user has a credit card on file.
View Credit Card View Credit Card Allows you to view and edit the user’s credit card information. This icon only appears if the user has a credit card on file.
Delete Credit Card Delete Credit Card Allows you to delete the credit card. This icon only appears if the user has a credit card on file.
E-Mail Opt-Out E-Mail Opt-Out If a user’s account is opted-out from e-mails, the user will no longer receive ANY e-mails sent from the ppSD2 system. This icon only appears if the user is currently opted-in (default) to receive e-mails.
E-Mail Opt-In E-Mail Opt-In This user’s account is currently opted-out from receiving e-mails sent from the ppSD2 system. E-Mail Opt-In will once again allow the user to receive e-mails. This icon only appears if the user is currently opted-out of e-mails.

Hiding Sensitive Information

If you wish to hide sensitive information such as credit card information and passwords from certain types of employees, do the following from the admin control panel:

Notes & Alerts

Notes

Notes allow you to leave information attached to an account that users will not be able to see. Notes are used for administrative purposes, allowing you to keeps detailed logs on your users.

Alerts

Unlike notes, alerts are posted directly to a user’s control panel.

Alert Viewed This icon appears when an alert has been viewed by the user.

Alert Not Viewed This icon appears when an alert has NOT been viewed by the user.

Establishing Alert Options

Alerts will only be displayed on a user’s control panel a certain number of times. You can control how many times an alert is displayed from the administrative control panel:

Universal Alert of Note

Universal This icon appears when a note or alert is “universal”).

A universal alert appears on every user's control panel and the standard options for displaying alerts do not apply (meaning that it will only disappear from a user’s control panel when you delete it from the administrative control panel).

A universal note appears on every user’s management screen within the administrative control panel.

Note: Deleting a universal note or alert from the user management screen will delete it permanently from all users’ accounts.
