Editing & Managing Users
User Management Screen
The user management screen allows you to manage users and leads and can be accessed from any of the following locations:
- Search Results Screen: Click the link associated with the first column in the results table
- User Listings (Users > List Users): Click the link associated with the first column in the results table
- Lead Listings (Users > List Leads): Click the link associated with the first column in the results table
- Username Links: Clicking a username anywhere on the admin control panel
- Search: Search for a username using either the ajax search feature or the standard search feature.
Once you are in the user management screen, the following options will be presented:

![]() | Unlock User | If an account is locked, this icon will allow you to unlock it. | This icon only appears if the user’s account is locked due to excessive failed logins. |

![]() | Create Subscription | Allows you to add a subscription to the user’s account. | This icon only appears if the user has a credit card on file. |

![]() | E-Mail Opt-Out | If a user’s account is opted-out from e-mails, the user will no longer receive ANY e-mails sent from the ppSD2 system. | This icon only appears if the user is currently opted-in (default) to receive e-mails. |
![]() | E-Mail Opt-In | This user’s account is currently opted-out from receiving e-mails sent from the ppSD2 system. E-Mail Opt-In will once again allow the user to receive e-mails. | This icon only appears if the user is currently opted-out of e-mails. |
Hiding Sensitive Information
If you wish to hide sensitive information such as credit card information and passwords from certain types of employees, do the following from the admin control panel:
- Click on “Setup”
- Click on “General Options”
- Edit the option entitled “Display Sensitive Information On Control Panel?”
- Selecting “Administrators” will prevent standard staff members from viewing sensitive information
- Selecting “Staff” will allow all standard staff members and administrators to view sensitive information
- Selecting “No One” will prevent any sensitive information from appearing on the control panel
Notes & Alerts
Notes
Notes allow you to leave information attached to an account that users will not be able to see. Notes are used for administrative purposes, allowing you to keeps detailed logs on your users.
Alerts
Unlike notes, alerts are posted directly to a user’s control panel.
This icon appears when an alert has been viewed by the user.
This icon appears when an alert has NOT been viewed by the user.
Establishing Alert Options
Alerts will only be displayed on a user’s control panel a certain number of times. You can control how many times an alert is displayed from the administrative control panel:
- Click on “Setup”
- Click on “User CP Related Options”
- Set the option entitled “Display Account Alerts” to the number of times each alert should be displayed
Universal Alert of Note
This icon appears when a note or alert is “universal”).
A universal alert appears on every user's control panel and the standard options for displaying alerts do not apply (meaning that it will only disappear from a user’s control panel when you delete it from the administrative control panel).
A universal note appears on every user’s management screen within the administrative control panel.
Note: Deleting a universal note or alert from the user management screen will delete it permanently from all users’ accounts.
