Please note that your order of ppSD2 comes with one free installation of the program. If you wish to take advantage of this offer, contact us with your account username and your request for an installation. In the event that you have already used your free installation, additional installations can be purchased by clicking here.

• Ensure that you have a MySQL database created on your server.
• Ensure that your server meets the program requirements.
• Ensure that you have downloaded the most recent version of the program from your Ascad Networks account.

1. After unzipping the ppSD2 zip file to your local hard drive, you should have the following directory structure:

• public_html/ppSD2

2. Upload the entire ‘ppSD2’ folder to your web server.

3. Set the permissions (CHMOD) on the following files/folders to 777:

• Folders (these need to stay as CHMOD 777 following the installation):
  • /ppSD2/sessions
  • /ppSD2/admin/attachments
  • /ppSD2/admin/digitalfiles
  • /ppSD2/admin/imports
• Files (there need to be changed back to permissions 755 following the installation):
  • /ppSD2/member_cp/user_data.php
  • /ppSD2/modules/infusion.php
  • /ppSD2/modules/infusion_pipe.php
  • /ppSD2/admin/functions_general.php
  • /ppSD2/admin/cron/cron_overview.php
  • /ppSD2/cms_code.php
  • /ppSD2/cda_login.php
  • /ppSD2/cross_domain_login.php

4. Set the permissions (CHMOD) on all files within the following directories to 755:

• /ppSD2/admin/cron

5. Using your web browser, access the following page:

• http://www.yoursite.com/ppSD2/setup/

6. Follow the on-screen directions.

7. Once the installation is complete, delete the “setup” directory from your server.

8. Create a cron job from your web site control panel set to run every 2 hours. Make it run the following command:

• */2 * * * php /full/server/path/to/ppSD2/admin/cron/cron_overview.php

Replace the “/full/server/path/to/ppSD2” with the correct absoulte path to the ppSD2 direction on your server.

9. Log into the control panel from the following location using the username and password you selected during the setup process:

• http://www.yoursite.com/ppSD2/admin/

On some servers, the following steps may be required if the program is not functioning following the installation process listed above:

1. Updating of the $FSP variable on the following files:

• /ppSD2/member_cp/user_data.php
• /ppSD2/modules/infusion.php
• /ppSD2/modules/infusion_pipe.php
• /ppSD2/admin/functions_general.php
• /ppSD2/admin/cron/cron_overview.php
• /ppSD2/cms_code.php
• /ppSD2/cda_login.php
• /ppSD2/cross_domain_login.php
  • On each file, the following line:
    • $FSP line: $FSP = “path“;
  • Needs to be changed to:
    • $FSP = “/correct/full/server/path/to/ppSD2”;

2. Blank setup screen: If you are receiving a blank setup screen, this is most likely caused by missing PHP cURL functions on your server. Please contact your web hosting provider to have these installed.
