To Do When Adding this Form
- Select “Form Type” as “Paid Registration”
- A new section (entitled “Products”) will appear on the page
- Select the products that a user will be able to purchase when he/she registers
- Important: Since the user will be purchasing one or more products with his/her registration, the user’s account will be associated with the purchased product’s settings as opposed to the registration form’s settings. This is a key distinction between “Paid Registration Forms” and “Free Registration Forms”

Creating a Form
Note: Before you begin, we recommend that you create your custom database fields.
From the administrative control panel:
- Hover your mouse over “Setup” and click on “Add a Form”
Form Settings

- Form Type: Select whether the form will be “Paid”, “Free”, or a “Lead” form (more details included above)
- Account Expiration: select whether you want the user to have a lifetime account or an account based on a specific length of time.
- Template Generated: Select whether you want the form to be automatically generated by ppSD2 or manually designed by you (for information on creating a Custom “Stand-Alone” Page, see the section below).
- CAPTCHA: Determines whether the user will have to input a CAPTCHA before registering.
- Exclude From List: If this checkbox is ticked, the program will hide the form from the list of registration forms available at http://www.yoursite.com/ppSD2/register.php
- E-Mail Notification: Where should “registration complete” e-mail notifications to administrators be sent following a successful registration? If left blank they will be e-mailed to the “Company E-Mail” as established within the program options.

- Restrict Registration: The program can secure a registration page from general access. If this checkbox is ticked, the user will require an “Access Code” to register (See section below entitled “Generating Access Codes”)
- Login Limits: The program allows you to limit how many times a user can log into his/her account following registration. Input any number into this field to control how many times a user can log in. If you do not wish limit how many times a user can log into his/her account, leave this field blank.
- Secure Areas of Access: Select the secure areas to which the user should have access following registration.

Restricted Registration
Users will be required to have an Access Code to register from any registration page marked as Restrict Registration.
Generating Access Codes
Assuming that a form has been marked as “Restricted Registration” (more information available above in section “Form Settings”), do the following from the administrative control panel to issue codes for this form:
- “Setup” > “List Forms”
- On the resulting page, you can choose to either send codes to specific emails or issue a certain number of codes.
Sending Codes to Specific E-Mails
In the large text box, input the e-mail addresses (one per line) to which you wish to issue a code for this registration form. The e-mail sent to these users will be generated using the template “Setup” > “Edit Templates” > E-Mail Templates: “Issue Registration Codes”.
Issues a Specific Number of Codes
In the small text box labeled “Quantity”, input the number of codes that you wish to issue.
Viewing Issued Codes
- “Setup” > “List Forms”
- Under the “Name” column, a link named “View Codes” will appear.
- Click the “View Codes” link[1].
- The resulting screen will display all issued codes, whether the codes have been used, and will allow you to delete codes.
Custom Stand-Alone Page
A “Stand-Alone” form, unlike a “Template-Generated” form, is one that you create from scratch and which is NOT rendered by ppSD2.
Restricted Registration Forms
If a form is denoted as “Restricted Registration”, users will be required to input a code prior to registering from the form. Codes can be issued by clicking the “issue code” icon listed on the “Setup > List forms” section of the control panel. Users can register using the code, which must be embedded into a link. The format for this link is:
http://www.yoursite.com/ppSD2/register.php?id=form ID here&cid=code_here
How Settings Are Applied to New Account
- Click here for more information on how the program determines what secure areas, newsletters, and digital products a user will have access to after registration.
