Account Status
Accounts will only be pending if the “status” on the user’s account is not set to “Active”. Click here for more information on account statuses.
Pausing or Unpausing an Account
From the admin control panel, open the user editing screen.
- To pause a user’s account, select “Paused” from the “Status” dropdown
- To unpause a user’s account, select “Active” from the “Status” dropdown
From the admin control panel, list or search for the user you wish to pause.
- Tick the checkbox next to the user’s username
- Scroll down and click on “Toggle Status”
- Activating an Account:
- If the user’s status is currently “Active”, the user’s new status will be set to “Paused” and the color coded box next to the user’s username will turn gray.
- Pausing an Account:
- If the user’s status is currently “Paused”, the user’s new status will be set to “Active” and the color coded box next to the user’s username will turn green.
- The user will be e-mailed to inform them of this status change
- Template used when a user’s account is paused is named “Account Paused By Administrator”
Activating Pending Accounts
From the admin control panel:
- “Users” > “Activate Pending Users”
- Tick the checkboxes of the users you wish to activate
- Click on “Activate”
- The user will be e-mailed to inform them of this approval
- Template used for this email is named “Account Activated By Administrator”
Rejecting Pending Accounts
From the admin control panel:
- “Users” > “Activate Pending Users”
- Tick the checkboxes of the users you wish to reject
- Click on “Reject Account”
- The user will be e-mailed to inform them of this rejection
- Template used for this email is named “Account Rejected By Administrator”
